Healthy Breakfast with Asparagus

So lately I’ve been indulging in the things I enjoy most, food. Not healthy good for you food but comforting sweet and savory foods. I’ve been avoiding veggies and going straight for my starches, preferably topped with bacon and smothered in a cheese of some sort.

To counteract the abuse I have done to my already aging figure I’ve decided to incorporate a bunch more veggies and fruits in my diet.

I take pride in looking good and most importantly I need to feel good and energetic considering I have little ones to tend to. Food can suck the life out of you, literally.

Now I’m definitely not giving up my comforting foods I’m just more about better choices and moderation.

I will never be the one to completely throw all the fun off of my plate….I love to eat so that’s out of the question, but I am starting to monitor my portions and sugar intake more closely.

This morning I lightened up my normal breakfast, which is usually grandiose, to a low- carb protein pack nutrient rich meal.

I have to say it was a lot quicker than my normal meal which is always a plus with my busy schedule.

Now I can’t say it’s as satisfying as my Lemon Raspberry Muffins, but I felt less guilt and had more energy throughout the morning. Try it for something new! Asparagus made for breakfast! All you need is…….
