Just a quick update, if you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you may already know that my camera is Broke! Not like a little broke where I can have my husband make a few adjustments to make it work, but it’s all the way finished. I have a Nikon D3200 and there aren’t many qualified Nikon technicians on this side of the Atlantic so I’ll have to send mine off for at least 90 days
It has put me in quite a tizzy.
I had already been looking into getting an upgrade, but it would be a pretty big investment. If you know anything about Nikon cameras the 3000 models are the most affordable out of all the series, and it works great. However the 500 models are amazing, I mean it does everything……and some more.
Either way I’ll have to figure all this out over the next few weeks but in the meantime I plan to stay busy here on the blog regardless.
I’m still going to post pictures of what’s currently happening in my kitchen. It will be very casual and laid back! I’ve been trying tons of healthy and grain free dishes and want to share some of that as well.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!
And remember….. keep all your valuable items in a safe place! 😉
Oh no!!!! This is terrible!!
I know
So sorry about your camera! I’ve gone back and forth on whether or not to upgrade my camera. It’s such a hard decision!

It really is Christin! I was in the camera shop almost an hour contemplating…I’m hoping something will happen for me Sunday considering it’s Mothers Day *fingers crossed*
Aww, I’m so sorry to hear that your camera broke Two years ago I jumped on the bandwagon and bought a SLR (Nikon as well), I’m very happy with it.
I do hope that it gets fixed or you’ll get your upgrade soon.

Yes, Kalley it has been a total bummer, I’m hoping to get it back soon!
Oh man…that’s terrible, especially for a blogger. I totally agree with you about the nikon 5000 series. That’s the one I have use and it’s pretty awesome…definitely worth the investment. In the meantime, have you considered taking pics with your smartphone? I’ve seen some people get great results with their iphones.

That 5000 model was doing some pretty impressive things in the Nikon video manuals.
I’ve tried taking some pics with my smartphone, but right now I’m just patiently waiting!
No!!! So sorry to hear about your camera. Check the Nikon website for refurbs. Good deals! Hope you’re shooting soon.
I just realized I have a 3 year warranty!!! Yay for me, it should be finished any day now, thanks Candace!
Moment of silence for your baby. I too am a #NikonGirl started with the D40 which I recently learned the price they are selling at is significantly lower than the price of repair. RIP to my first love. I’m shooting with a D700 and she is a beast. Good luck with getting your baby fixed. Power to the #NikonGirl

Right?! The price to get it fix is almost not worth it. I ended up getting a new camera, but I went ahead and got this one fixed, just in case we have another accident I’ll have a stand by on deck!
